Terms of engagement
Not yet approved for publication. The partners have not signed off
the firm's terms of engagement. Rather than publish a template that would read as
a promise the firm has not made, this page states only what the system
itself does.
What the system records, as built
This is a factual description, not the firm's approved terms of engagement. Terms for your matter are the ones in the engagement letter you sign.
- No lawyer–client relationship arises from this website, an enquiry, or a consultation request. It arises when a conflict check has been run and both sides have agreed terms in writing.
- Money received on account is held separately from the firm's fees and is shown to you as a separate balance.
- Court fees, stamp paper, process fees and similar disbursements are recorded against your matter with receipts.
- Hearing dates shown to you are the dates the court gave. Courts move dates, and we tell you when they do.
